Hopkins didn't do anything taylor didn't do... pavlik just refused to throw that night.

Hokins vs Calzaghe and Wright was way worse than Hatton against Collazo and Urango.

        Hopkins the grappler...

Hopkins is a lot more sneaky about it too. He makes it count while Hatton overpowers them with mauling. It's a different type of clinching imo. It both requires skill imo.

oh please it had nothing to do with throwing. hopkins made prime pavlik his ***** his SEX SLAVE. get over it pavlik is not 1/10th as skilled as hopkins and never will be. a prime hopkins would have annihilated club fighter pavlik in about 2 rounds

It's just mind-boggling how people look at the same issue (holding/grappling) but then label one a master of the inside game, while the other is just a dirty grappler.
Hopkins is 43,and Hattons is annoiying,Hatton basicly punches then comes in to hold, then he resets himself like hes ready to do some hurt, then he punches again and holds, its frustrating to watch

Oh and watch some fights where Hopkins is in his 30's,mainly the Tito fight, tellme if u see him hold

Hopkins wants no part of Adamek. Thats why he made a joke of an offer.

Adamek is around 35 pounds bigger then Pavlik, Hopkins doesnt want any part of someobdy his own size.

You're kind of right, Hopkins is holding is more about avoiding punishment than inflicting. In a lot of cases though he is very intelligent about it lands sneaky shots but the Zaghe fight had the worst holding theatrics, had Bernard not held he would've looked like Roy did.

He was the runner that night and Tito barely threw so there wasn't much to hold onto.
