At the beginning of that interview Roach predicted a late KO, in the 9th, 10th or 11th round. Then the interviewer told him that Hatton had predicted he'd KO Manny in 6. Roach responded to that by saying that Pac would KO Hatton in 3. At that point Roach was trash talking in response to what he saw as trash talk by Hatton. Also, Floyd Snr had predicted Hatton would KO Pac in 1 round, not long before.

Roach's real prediction, which he has made in all subsequent interviews, is still a late round KO.

Ricky needs to remember that he himself was knocked out by a relatively effortless check hook just over a year ago, so I hope Ricky's chin is improved since then.

If Roach was saying that round 3 KO stuff in response to Mayweather Snr's round 1 KO, then fair enough Roach has the right to say **** too. Mayweather Snr talks ALOT of crap too, i know that.
I was under the impression that Roach was responding to Hatton's round 6 KO prediction, which is not too crazy a prediction for either fighter..

Hatton is going to shock the boxing world on May 2nd, who have bought in to the Pacquiao hype. Hatton has improved, will be thinking alot more about what he is doing, and will be fully prepared for Pac. Manny will not be prepared for Hatton. They are judging him from past fights against Collazo, Mayweather, Lazcano etc, but he will be very different from the Ricky in those fights. Manny's sparring partners so far do not represent a fighter of Hatton's style and so will be of no help to him at all.

sorry but this part just doesn't make any sense. how is ricky so improved? because he beat paulie? sounds like your the one buying into the hype. as far as pac not being prepared i'm sure they are doing something in camp, and using his past fights( ones he looked in as well as the ones he didn't) as a model, why wouldn't they? he still the same guy, oh ya hes totally different now. they are obviously looking at old fights where pac got kod. the sparring should help pac also cause antillon is a pressure fighter, sorry forgot again hattons a defensive genius now. who is hatton sparring? hope they can match pacs speed or hatton might not be ready. i think this is going to be a great close fight and i hope who ever wins doesn't have to hear any lame excuses.like you said we'll find out may 2.
