i very much admire ricky hatton but you hatton fans ignore the facts.

Fact:
Mayweather faught most of his rights under 140, so to me he is a natural 140 just like hatton. Hatton was knocked out, the size difference between mayweather and hatton was very small, and only noticable in arm reach....

Also mayweather had hatton out the fight in the 6th round

Collazo, a south paw and gave hatton hell of trouble

fact: Malignaggi was feather fisted and did not get bullyed by hatton all that much in the early rounds.

Fact: Pac is strong, has good footwork and will constantly circle hatton

fact: Pacquiao is southpaw

fact: Hatton's last three performances weren't impressive, he only real lopsided win was against a one handed feather fisted jabber, (who i happen to like). The other gotten rocked more than a few times for which the ref helped out , and the other being mayweather

fact: Mayweather has improved hatton, but manny improves just as dramatically after every fight.

Fact: Malignaggi is not as fast as pacquiao and doesn't throw combos. Pacquaio is possibly the fastest known fighter. (even faster than judah and calzaghe some will agrue)

but beating an old oscar, a david diaz who is way slower than hatton and going life and death with jmm ain't that impressive either.


Styles make fights and i don't know if manny has ever faced somebody as big and ferocius as hatton. This remains to be seen. However, if manny can figure it out, he should win becuase he is the better boxer.

Malinagui who hit like fly swatter. Mp is the extreme of both. Mp is on his peak who hit harder than kosta and faster than malinagui. So let's see how rh reacts.

i think it's gonna take more than one body punch and it depends if hatton gets leverage on that body punch and hasn't smothered his power by getting in too close

also you know ricky and oscar are good friends in real life....but oscar has even more problems with body shots, and oscar always had a good chin...hatton has him done in 5-7 rounds that night...and even a average ww beats oscar on points that night....roach and pac have stumped the public...think hes superman of boxing going and beating a legend thas past his prime at a weight that looks impressive for pac to come up too....keep in mind oscar had to go down in weight just so pac could fight him...so know roach's mindset has pac walking into a trap against a live bigger in his prime fighter come may 2nd

He did not praise Manny to high heavens with that win. Oscar will not fyt a legit WW at 147, why would he. Now it will be a different Oscar if he fought another guy, at a higher weight. Yes he can lose to that other guy, but in a very different manner…or he could have won..

Think of the preparations, training, weight reduction if he fought a legit WW in his(oscar) weight of 154.... he wouldnt fyt ricky at 145, margo or cotto at 147.....thus the outcome can be very different if oscar fought another guy that nyt!!

his last 2 fights were against oscar and david diaz and this is the problem why is it that paquiao is all of a sudden such a great boxer based on those 2 fights those were his easiest fights in about 3-4 years yes oscar is oscar but come on

where have you been brady?? it's obvious that u only saw pac's last 2 fyts. u certainly not heard of manny's classic fyts with MARCO ANTONIO "BABY FACED ASSASSIN" BARRERA(2-0-0), ERIK "EL TERRIBLE" MORALES(2-1-0) and JUAN MANUEL "DINAMITA' MARQUEZ (1-0-1) and other Mexican prime fighters. Manny was already #2 P4P behind floyd.
