Well its ok as long as it is not coming from pacquiao himself... That means it is the fans that re confident not pacquiao...

Just ignore them and listen to what pacquiao is saying... He doesn't even want to say that he will win, he just said "Only god knows"...

Hatton i think is the one understimating pacquiao but i guess he is preparing very hard for this one...

I can agree with this. That is one thing that is interesting. I dont normally like ****y fighters, but I like Ricky and Im glad to hear Hatton still has some fight left in him and confidence. Yet Manny being so humble is also why I like him. "Only God knows" is right up there with Glen Johnson saying "Im not the best, Im just willing to fight the best." Just a very humble and classy thing to say.

i think personally hatton is making these comments because hes sick of hearing about how will you handle this and that....and its really been all hatton criticism by the media....hes just showing the weak points in manny's arsenal nobody sems to adress

Hatton should not say all those things because he might be giving some hints to team pacquiao of what he is going to do come fight night...

But i guess hatton is just pissed off because many people even the experts are underestimating his ability...

Pacquiao probably has one of the best chins of this decade. And have you ever seen his abs. His abs are solid, and he says he could take ab shots all fight long.
Pacquiao has been stunned plenty of times, but he recovers great. Most of the time he recovered within seconds. His Chin is very Durable.
And in the JMM fight, Pac didn't look HORRIBLE defensively. His defense is very underrated by many. Im not saying his defense is great like Floyds, Winkys, or Hopkins. But his defense is pretty good. He does get hit solidly, but in his last 2 fights, he has shown better boxing abilities. He used to just be that Jab Jab left fighter. Now he throws a great number of different combos, and his head movement is insane.

Ab shot and a liver shot are 2 different things.....

Let me just break down facts and you all can disagree.

-Rickys only loss was to the previous P4P in Mayweather
-Ricky is now fighting the current P4P in Pacquiao
You dont just get handed this honor you earn it.

-Mayweather figured Hatton's come forward style and Hatton never adjusted.

-As soon as Mayweather got in those lead rights, pot shot, and moved Hatton slowed down, this was during the mid rounds. Expect Pacquiao to slide in that left just as quick.

-Round 8 Mayweather mixed up his punches and Hatton kept coming forward walking right into them. Hatton slows down again during the final minute of the 8th while Floyd is just mixing it up on Hatton. Pacquiao is known for mixing up his punches with angles and as soon as Pac catches Hatton with a lead left or right hook to stun Hatton expect Pacquiao to go in for the kill with his barrage of punches.

-Mayweather toys with Hatton in round 9 sticking out that left jab with ease and moving. If a left jab is easy to for Mayweather what more a lead left by Pac.

-Finally Mayweather figures out Hatton and his relentless come forward style and times a left hook that was thrown NUMEROUS times throughout the fight, hardcore Floyd fans no this and even Steward commented on it saying the check left hook that Floyds been throwing all night, as well as his lead right. This goes to show how well Hatton adjusts, his style never changed.

Now heres my point, Floyd and Pacquiao are two different but look at the way Floyd stopped Hatton, with the same arsenal Pacquiao has. Fast hands, mixing up punches, stick and move style, jabs, and the lead left. Pacquiao has the same traits to beat Hatton.

I seriously think Hatton is too over confident in this fight thinking he will just be able to maul and over power Pac but he will be underestimated.

Take away a fighters key components and what do you have?
-Remember take away Oscars well known jab and left hook, what did you have? A Golden Boy who had no game plan.

-Ricky Hatton, known for his inside body punching, maul and overwhelm style. Take the inside game away from Hatton, what do you have? Another sitting duck with no game plan. You gonna have to hold Pacquiao in order to rough him up and you think that holding style will hold up in Vegas? NOPE.

I've always thought Hatton gives way too much away about game plans,, even Billy Graham talked too much about it. Look at the madia event in LA, Pac-man was aked about his game plan and replied "It's a secret". Everyone needs to stop talking about Gayweather here,, what a serious bore, I would rather watch Audrey ' Handbags' Harrison. Nah actually I wouldn't he's muck! Hatton by KO - Visualize it people, it will happen!!

Hahaha.... I noticed that as well...
I observed that two Brit fighters (Haye and Hatton) are too talkative....
They are predicting and telling everything they'll do during the fight...
He's comparing Paulie with Pacman... dang! Paulie, doesnt have the power to KO a cat. And the guy lasted more than 6 rounds, is that right?
If Pac fought Paulie, that dude will be lucky if he lasts 5 rounds....

There's no comparison there... maybe he's listening too much on Mayweather Sr's rap... fight with your gloves not your mouth...
If you KO Pac... you'll have my respect...
