It isnt about him beating Oscar, it's about many of his fans thinking that all of the sudden he is a perfect fighter that can not be hit, hurt, or beat. Facts are that he has been hit, hurt and beat, and not that long ago in the eyes of many. Just live in reality and cheer for Pac to win. What is so hard about that? Im not saying he wont beat Hatton (because if I was forced to bet on the fight I would say Pac KO's Hatton leaping in) but dont act like suddenly Freddy Roach has turned him into Jesus Christ himself. It makes the rest of us level headed people laugh and refuse to take those fans seriously.

Pac beat Oscar becUSE OF HIS STYLE.
He beat him with his speed, in and out movement and fast combinations.He beat him with skills.
Oscar threw more than 400 punches but just couldn't hit Pac so you can't say Oscar 'wasn't there".

you made some really good points..
but i dont think pacquiao is a crafty inside fighter like mayweather is.. mayweather's craftyness and defense allowed him to pick apart hatton which he had really been doing since round 1 but it gradually got worse for hatton as the fight went on..
also is pacquaio as strong or stronger than hatton?
that also plays a part into how the fight will unfold.. i do not think pacquiao can fight ricky's style of fight and be successful.. pacquiao needs to control the tempo if he wants to win imo

My post was to point out that the same arsenal Mayweather used to slow down Hatton, Pacquiao posses as well. Im sure Roach and Team Pacquiao are going to make sure they dont fight Hattons inside game and bet this is what there working on in training, taking away the opponents only weapon.

roach keeps arguing that pac wont be there for hatton to hit....i agree with hatton's analysis....pac leans in forward as well....and hatton will club him with a right or side step left to the body....hatton can hurt pac...i truly believe this...oscar was flat footed keep that in mind....and ricky is always active on his feet, very bouncy and active in almost all his fights

Well its ok as long as it is not coming from pacquiao himself... That means it is the fans that re confident not pacquiao...

Just ignore them and listen to what pacquiao is saying... He doesn't even want to say that he will win, he just said "Only god knows"...

Hatton i think is the one understimating pacquiao but i guess he is preparing very hard for this one...

pac defense is just average...at best....hatton has tools in his arsenal to give pac problems....and pac doesnt make to many mid round adjustments either to be honest

i think personally hatton is making these comments because hes sick of hearing about how will you handle this and that....and its really been all hatton criticism by the media....hes just showing the weak points in manny's arsenal nobody sems to adress
