even Fu.ken baldomire and diaz beat him
Zab judah is a ***** and baldomire is a no name and he beat zab first and then beat gatti.
he barely beat oscar and even manny knocked oscar out.
Hatton is a good win but even he was out of his own division and is known to struggle at WW.
Mayweather is better than most WW but not the best WW
he hasnt fought any Real champions at WW
He has to beat both shane mosley and cotto to even be mentioned as one of the greats.
What mayweather achieved so have other fighters nothing special he just knows how to bull**** and dump fuc.s believe his hype.
Mayweather is a good champion like oscar and mosley chavez hopkins even etc etc
But a great or the greatest muhammd ali is a great ray robinson is a great ray leonard etc etc champions in multiple divisions and beat anyone that challenged them. Maywaether is a WWE style hype has the skills but no balls

Im no fan of Floyd, but in all fairness he lost very few rounds in his career and never lost to anybody he was supposed to beat. Incredibly talented, but should have fough more often and gone after other top fighters instead of waiting for them to knock each other off. He would get much more credit if he did these things. Would have been a top fighter in any era.

Well 140 was a garbage division while he was there. Gatti had the WBC belt and Floyd destroyed him. Corley and Bruseles were fights to get to that point.

At 147 he beat Zab who was a champion. Baldomir had all of the other meaningful belts except the WBO and he skooled him. That was in 2006. Floyd had already snatched up the meaningful belts at 147 before Cotto even fought at the weight. And Mosley was jumping up and down from 147-154.

I personally don't like Floyd at all, but you CANNOT say he hasn't beaten good fighters on his way up...

        Ricky Hatton - 43-0
        Carlos Baldomir - 43-9
        Zab Judah - 34-3
        Sharmba Mitchel - 56-4
        Arturo Gatti - 39-6
        Henry Bruseles - 21-2
        Demarcus Corley - 28-2
        Phillip N'dou - 31-1
        Victoriano Sosa - 35-2
        Jose Luis Castillo (x2) - 45-4
        Jesus Chavez - 35-1
        Carlos Hernandes - 33-2
        Diego Corrales - 33-0
        Emmanuel Augustus - 22-16
        Gregorio Vargas - 40-6
        Carlos Gerena - 34-2
        Justin Juuko - 33-2
        Carlos Rios - 44-2
        Angel Manfredy - 25-2
        Genaro Hernandes - 38-1
        Tony Pep - 39-6

If you ask me those are all great fighters with great records, you can't discredit that. The only thing you can discredit is why he didn't face bigger fighters in his biggest moments.

Floyd should have another 2-3 fights to cap it off but he's a hall of famer. He's no top 10 or top 20 all time as he may wanna place himself though.

to be honest i see pacquio more of a great then mayweather
Pac was also knocked out twice and lost to a past prime Morales. His wins over JMM are also debatable...so be careful. I still think he is a great fighter.

But, I can somewhat agree with Floyd being overrated by some. His legacy for me lacks when he moved up to 147. He did win the lineal title there but Baldomir wasn't the best at 147.

He beat Jose Louis Castillo twice, then the last big fights of his career on the grand stage he won, defeating the still in his prime Zab Judah(you can say what you want about Judah at the time but many thought he would defeat Mayweather, and Floyd did have to make adjustments midfight and come from behind to win), he beat DLH, and then finally KO'd the lineal JW champ Ricky Hatton. Who was suppose to beat Mayweather. Other notable mentions are defeats over Baldomir(who beat Judah), Sharmba Mitchell, Demarcus Corley, Phillip N'dou. He was a champion for ten years.
Listen Gerano hernandez was super shot when he fought him ok.Ricky Hatton was out of his division,Carlos baldomir, zab judah are bums and non of them were top W.W just like Gotti so shut the **** up and stop licking Floyds balls!!!

Exactly....Mayweather fans seem to be immune to the fact that their man specialized in dodging real fights while taking easy ones.

                Most Dishonorable.

p.s Mayweather loses to Pac, JMM, Mosley, Cotto and P.Will.

Yeah they had those records. But who they beated to have those records.

By your standars, Jennings was a good win for Cotto.

The reason why I believe him to be so great is not because of his record but because of his pure talent and skill. I cant elaborate on just how good this man is. Seriously, the talent level is on phenom. There are great fighters but there are few who have the talent of Floyd. You look back in time and seriously I look and see this... in reverse order.

                      Floyd
                      Whitaker
                      Tyson
                      Leonard
                      Ali
                      Marciano
                      J. Louis/ Willie pep/ Robinson (same era approx.)
                      Dempsey
                      McCoy

There are alot of ATGs but I am looking at what changed the face of boxing. Just the raw talent. Some may question my Marciano choice and trust me its not because I like him. Its because he changed the face of boxing with "heart". No boxing tangables, just heart. His talent was his heart.

I have three in one era because they all changed the face of boxing. Louis with punching.. Pep with movement... Robinson with well-roundedness. Before there era it was pretty rock em sock em robots. Dempsey sparked the change of that. McCoy.. well search him up. You'll see why he is there.
Floyd is our era's ATG. Thats why he is so great. He just has that talent that makes you just sit back and you know your watching something great.
