i dont think lacy is a better fighter p4p i just think both are in the same bracket as good but not elite - they are the gatekeepers of their respective weight divisions. if someone wants a pick me up or a gauge to see how good someone is they call these guys - e.g. Jt vs lacy, clottey vs judah.

you could make the argument that its the other way around judah>lacy, but like i said my main point is that both are gatekeepers in their weight divisions, they'll be in the top 10 of their weight divisions for the rest of their careers but wont ever crack the top 5 unless its in a cr@ppy states.

Its hard to tell on NSB these days, you got f.uckers out there who think Kessler losing 8-4 to calzaghe means he beats just about everybody from 160-175.

Joe Calzaghe, purely because of his longevity. He also became the lineal LHW champ.

Judah in his prime wasn't a gate keeper tho, he was a 2 weight world champ, former undisputed welterweight champion and P4P rated fighter.

Was Jeff lacy ever any of these things?

His reign on at Jr. WW wasn't nearly as long as Calzaghe's at Super MW.

Tszyu hasn't accomplished anything that Calzaghe hasn't, but Calzaghe has done things Tszyu hasn't.

And Calzaghe has the better resume.
