I'm not gonna lie, i've also thought he very well could of had plaster. There is no proof, but the damage he did to Taylor was insane. I dont think i've seen a fighter beat up that bad since.Comment

Ok so it's also safe to assume that a big puncher like Pacman also used plaster especially against David Diaz.Comment

Chavez always beat up his opponents though. Taylor was too tough for his own good.Comment

Steele actually held up the count for like 5 seconds talking to Taylor after the mandatory 8 count.I haven't seen anyone claim it was a "lucky" punch. Any sensible person wouldn't argue this fact.
It's the time of the stoppage. You stop a fight to prevent the fighter from inflicting further damage, period. With only 2 seconds remaining, and with Chavez on the other side of the ring, will the clock still ticking, and Steele to still resume the action, it was a physical impossibility for Chavez to land, let alone throw another punch.
jsut checked, and Taylor hit the floor with 16 seconds left on the clock. so in theory, Chavez would have had 8 seconds to finish the fight after the mandatory 8 count.
I dont think he would have been able to do actually, but its not impossible.
Wish they would have had an immediate rematch.Comment

Its the rate at which it happened, look how fast it happened, just like with Marg against Cotto. Marg was landing the whole fight but the damage happened immediately around round 7 and piled on, just like the Taylor fight with Chavez.Comment

Dude i'm not saying he did, but the damage Diaz took from Pac is nowhere near as bad. Like i said their is no proof, and most likely he didnt, but i wouldnt be surprised at all if it came out later that he did use plaster.Comment

Than in this case Taylor was on steroids...Just like Mosley is in his fights....
