Hatton Downplays Pacquiao's Win Over De La Hoya
Collapse

After the post fight interview of the PAC-ODLH Fight, Hatton was interviewed backstage and he was in shockinglly awe of Pac with matching tears for the beatdown he gave his friend/promoter Oscar in that fight. Downplaying him now is a sign of false sense of security and maybe... FEAR!
you are damn right with that post-fyt Hatton interview!! Ricky's trainer may be rubbing in him now. Give them some more weeks together and Ricky will be declaiming or rhyming poems as well. Ricky should end his relationship with this(trainer) kind of person for the sake of his good personality, especially if he loses to Manny. If Ricky wins, he myt become the white version of floyd.....Comment

he was upset because this pac vs oscar match was a farce...and hatton knew it....should have never happened because it just makes the legend of oscar seem bad....pac the true featherweight comes back to earth when hes in a dog fight with ricky may 2ndComment

you guys are hypocrites! i distinctly remember people saying it was a farce because delahoya was too big, how people change their f### tune when pac makes you all look foolish. stick around for may 2nd, i think people should realize that pac is not out of his depth, all you have to do is look at how him and his rival marquez are tearing through higher divisions. These two talents are for real.Comment

Zab hasn't won a fight against a decent fighter in years. Why do you think he fights on ESPN2, And when he does fight somebody good he gets beat. KT ruined him just like Ricky ruined KT. How many losses does Zab have and how many losses has Ricky have huh.Comment

Most boxing experts think Pac will win. You're entitled to your opinion that most boxing experts are fools, and that you know more about boxing than most of the world's boxing experts do, but it's an incredibly arrogant opinion. If you really believe you're much more knowledgeable about boxing than most boxing experts are, why don't you get a job with The Ring and put your money where your mouth is?Comment

Also, didn't those ring "experts" pick a ODLH win over Pac, and a Pavlik win over Hopkins equally one sidedly?Comment

Boxing experts aren't always right but they are right more often than most non-experts are, which is why they're called experts. Of course Hatton might score an upset this time as well, and if he does, they'll be wrong again - but that's why it would be considered an upset, because most people who know about boxing believe Pac is likely to win, although he might not.Last edited by Dave Rado; 04-02-2009, 07:21 PM.Comment
