True indeed. But the difference is that Cotto fight was 3 yrs ago when both were on the come up and Paulie was undefeated. yet Cotto still managed to put him down in the 2nd and sent him to the hospital. Now a days Paulie is alot softer and chinny. Cotto right now would put him through the meat-grinder within 5 in my opinion.
Cotto would break everything about him at this point. I have an entire new REPSPECT for him.

Cotto IMO would put Pac, Hatton and Pauli all to sleep at this point...

You have a point. He does like to hype that up as well as his victory over Tszyu who he gave reasons why he would win before the fight and they basically were about Tszyu's age and inactivity as a fighter.
I think Frank Warren said something like, "We are getting Tszyu at the RIGHT TIME, and in Ricky's back-yard."

Yeah hatton SHOULD take more credit, he actually KO'd Castillio with a peach of a punch that broke four ribs.
Who, if you were a fighter would you rather fight? Who do you think would add more to your legacy in the long run? Who was the favorite to win in both fights?

Are you fcuking kidding me? Oscar was as shot as any fighter I have ever seen in the ring.

Castillio was Underdog because he was moving up in weight, it's extremely rare for a fighter moving up in weight to be favourite. even then it was close on the betting, and I believe (I wasn't posting here at the time) that the NSB poll favoured Castillio.

History will not put the ODLH in Pac's top 10 wins.

That's what I am saying about some of you guys. Getting mad because I make an observation. Manny connected on JMM for the whole fight & didn't KO him? Knocked him down several times and all? If Manny had REAL KO power he would have put JMM out, especially after all the times he connected on him. Arrogance is underrated but Sack riding is PROHIBITED.

                • To be fair JMM has a great chin.

Castillo was in there to lose. Pacquiao pulled off an upset of epic proportions, whatever way you slice it. It will go down in history. History doesn't look at where a fighter was (in terms of primes, only historians and REALLY knowledgable fans do that), simply what happened.

He does but if Manny is a BIG puncher like everyone makes him out to be
wouldn't he had atleast hurt him in both fights? He knocked him down but
JMM stayed in & made both fights really close. Hatton would KO JMM in
                      my opinion.
