It doesn't matter how many titles the US have at the moment. When James was in his prime, he was fighting Michael Nunn, Mike McCallum and Roy ****in Jones. Who was Joe fighting that made him so great in his prime? Chris Eubank's corpse?

And he couldn't even beat that old ass JR MW McCallum either first time, he had to wait untill he was older. LOL!!!

James Toney is the most overrated fighter of the past 20 years.

- He has two losses to Sam Peter, who has shown us his limitations in later fights. He lost to people like Drake Thadzi who is not a world-beater, and twice to Montel Griffin...

- Toney should have more losses on his record: he was recently given a gift against Fres Oquendo, and then there was the fight with Danny Batchelder, where he received more underserved rounds from the judges. Dave Tiberi was robbed in his fight with Toney, even James himself now admits he should have lost that one.

- James has twice been caught cheating with steroids, after the Ruiz fight and after his Batchelder bout.

James Toney was schooled by Roy Jones, and losing to Roy isn't so bad. But when we consider how easily a past prime version of Joe Calzaghe defeated a slightly more past prime version of Jonse, it seems obvious to me that a prime Joe Calzaghe would have schooled a prime James Toney!

First off, let's list his losses at heavyweight when he's past his prime as a reason why he would lose to Calzaghe. Way to go Tunney, that's great logic.
Then to add more reason, well list his robberies. Instead of first listing the obvious one in Tiberi, list his Heavyweight robberies

You could argue that Calzaghe had slipped a little, even though I think he was just as good because he became a smarter fighter, but Calzaghe isn't the one who got knocked out brutally twice two fights in a row and then dropped a decision. He is a tad bit. He went many years without a key win, lost to subpar competition in Drake, lost to griffin, and struggled in a lot of his title defenses against Johnson, McCallum, and Tiberi. Johnson and McCallum were good fighters, but it's still to be noted.

Toney is a lock for HOF though, well using his resume anyway. Steroids are a different thing.
