Whether he belongs there or not is irrelevant. If he chooses to fight there he should fight the best. That said, I think he should have stayed at 135 for awhile and then bounced to 140. But if his plans are to fight at 147 after Hatton he'd be best suited to fight someone in the lower half of the top 10 before tackling Cotto. I admire Manny's courage, but he should let his body acclimated at 47 before taking on a Cotto or Mosely.

i agree with everything but it wouldn't make no sense for pacman to take on anybody outside of the top five. high risk very low reward.

Yeah, you're probably right. and Im sure his team isn't just going to throw him to the wolves if they don't think he's ready. I don't think Roach would let that happen.

                    come on arum

i think if anybody deserves to fight pacquiao its marquez, not saying cotto would'nt make a good fight .but cotto would knock him out in 3 to 5 rounds.
marquez/pacquiao is full of suspense.and now with more weight maybe marquez can withstand the power evening the odds.or maybe thats why they don't want a trilogy.

Thats what Im talkin about! I wold love to see him fight Campbell or JMM again, and I think the others (besides Urango, who I think Pac would destroy) could be intersting fights against solid contenders.
