Why does Floyd get the blame for the Cotto fight never happening?

pbf could've made the fight after Cotto defeated Mosley a month earlier in Nov and pbf took out hatton, but what did pbf say when Larry ask him bout a Cotto fight "I am gonna retire from boxing, I'm not gonna let boxing retire me."
in other words "I'm gonna retire cause I dont want Cotto to send me into retirement" That's what I heard.

pbf ducked all the questions when it came to fight Cotto after both had successfully defended the WW crowns at the end of '07.

Then pbf unretired after Cotto had signed to fight Wrapacheato. go figure.

If he does end up coming back & Cotto gets thru Clottey & the winner or hatton-pacman or Mosley, pbf will still say the say old crap that there is doesnt make $$$$ sense for him.

Only Cotto will get pbf is to go to his home knock on the door and slap the **** out of pbf & say "fight me, you puss"

Floyd could have Fought Cotto. Cotto could have fought Floyd. You notice neither guy really mentions the other unless someone with a mic asks a specific question? Floyd didn't duck Cotto. Cotto didn't duck Floyd.

I just remembered him asking the same thing after the Jennings fight and he was trying to coax Cotto into calling PBF out. I did not stop to think that the whole thread was about before Floyd's retirement.

first of all im 100% sure he wouldnt knock margarito out second styles makes fights so just cause u beat one guy that another loses 2(and its contreversial with the whole wraps thing) dooesnt mean the other guy cant beat him
