I think the point he was making with that was he wanted big fights. Fights that could be sold as Pay per views.

Wright is not a PPV fighter really... it's his opposition that got him on PPV. Hell, even his fights with Vargas, Mosley and Taylor didn't end up on PPV. Only Trinidad and Hopkins got him on PPV.

Not to mention, Cotto is a PPV fighter. He fought Judah, Mosley and Margarito on PPV, and is probably the biggest up and coming PPV fighter... I mean, **** he outsold Pavlik, who was the only other fighter that I figured would have a chance of becoming a PPV star in the near future.

At the time when Floyd was calling Winky out though Cotto wasn't as big of a star as he is these days. Winky had name value that Floyd could try to translate into stardom for himself. You are right about Winky not being a huge draw though.
