But realistically, I don't think Shane is gonna get a fight with the winner. Floyd's looking at the cards that are on the table and I can guarantee if Pac comes out victorious, he's gunning for Pac and he WILL get that fight. Mosley obviously wants the money, but I believe him and Cotto is the most logical fight for the Fall be it Cotto wins.

I personally dont have a problem with Floyd fighting Pac or Marquez (I think people underestimate the smaller guy vs the bigger guy scenario), but he HAS TO fight the winner of Cotto vs Mosley in 2010. Either one of those fights will be huge.

Firt...Cotto is fighting Clottey...Second Margo is out of the picture for now.

You have a point with Mosley but Mosley is up and years can't really put to much blame on him for wanting a big name.

Anyway Mayweather goes around claiming his all time great status...that he is 1p4p of all time....I think with claims like that people want to see him take on the toughest opponents available in the era..I don't see whats wrong with that...

I don't think Cotto called out Pacman. He just simply said that he's ready for anyone whether it may be Berto,Mosely in the rematch,Clottey or the winner of Pac vs Hatton.

Asking Floyd to fight bigger guys is all good, but Floyd and Manny weigh in a couple of pounds of eachother, it's closer in size than Floyd vs Cotto

Larryx, would you stop the damn crying already! Nobody is really complaining about Floyd fighting JMM AS LONG as its for a tune-up that leads to bigger and more challenging fights. Floyd retired as a WW, so let's see how he does against the top dogs at WW. There was no problem when he faced the much bigger Baldomir, but the minute someone mentions Cotto, Marg, or Shane, the first thing out of the mouths of people like you are.."Floyd's not a natural WW, therefore he shouldnt have to fight them" Where was this outcry when he signed to fight Baldomir? A guy who outweighed Floyd by at least 15lbs on fight night?

I dont really see anyone complaining about a Floyd/Pac fight either as long as its held at a fair catchweight for both fighters. Preferably between 140-147lbs.
