Thats the thing. The majority of fans and posters here are cool with him taking on JMM as long as its for a tune-up bout. If he pulls a Harry Houdini again and decides to retire right after, or face someone other than a top caliber opponent in his next fight, then the criticism will be warranted.

Pretty much everyone here wants to see any of the following:

Floyd/Pac
Floyd/Cotto
Floyd/Shane

Anyone other than that after a bout with Marquez is purely unnaceptable.

I think you should stopping putting words in people's mouths because i don't see anyone calling for floyd to fight middleweights or anything like that. It just so happens that the division he fights in has a lot of bigger fighters and some people would just like to see him fight the best in his division.

I'm not a Floyd fan, or a Floyd hater. I appreciate the man's skill and level of craft, but at the same time I have always felt that he left me with a lot of questions by not fighting a legit Welterweight.

You could also argue that the dude is just too small for that weightclass, and that may even be true.

One thing I know for sure is this : I'd be excited as hell to see Floyd TKO Manny's overrated ass. That would make me a straight up fan. I'm sick of seeing Pacquiao overrated on here, and Floyd is the only man I'm 100% confident in that would be able to tax that ass completely.

I'd bet on Floyd beating Manny but i'd be more confident on betting on him over Cotto or Mosley

Pacquiao is a straight up beast, although i agree he is overrated but only by the Pinoys as he is their biggest sports star
