Larryx, would you stop the damn crying already! Nobody is really complaining about Floyd fighting JMM AS LONG as its for a tune-up that leads to bigger and more challenging fights. Floyd retired as a WW, so let's see how he does against the top dogs at WW. There was no problem when he faced the much bigger Baldomir, but the minute someone mentions Cotto, Marg, or Shane, the first thing out of the mouths of people like you are.."Floyd's not a natural WW, therefore he shouldnt have to fight them" Where was this outcry when he signed to fight Baldomir? A guy who outweighed Floyd by at least 15lbs on fight night?
I dont really see anyone complaining about a Floyd/Pac fight either as long as its held at a fair catchweight for both fighters. Preferably between 140-147lbs.Comment

Anyone hating on Mayweather - Pacquiao is an idiot
That fight would be the epitome of the best fighting the best
Asking Floyd to fight bigger guys is all good, but Floyd and Manny weigh in a couple of pounds of eachother, it's closer in size than Floyd vs Cotto
Mayweather - Pacquiao would be fight of the decade
Floyd Vs Pac is a enourmous huge fighting event that will gross millions upon millions of dollars...
But is it the biggest test for the self proclaimed Greatest Fighter of All Time...surpassing the likes of SRR in his own estimation.
I dunno about that.Comment

I'm not a Floyd fan, or a Floyd hater. I appreciate the man's skill and level of craft, but at the same time I have always felt that he left me with a lot of questions by not fighting a legit Welterweight.
You could also argue that the dude is just too small for that weightclass, and that may even be true.
One thing I know for sure is this : I'd be excited as hell to see Floyd TKO Manny's overrated ass. That would make me a straight up fan. I'm sick of seeing Pacquiao overrated on here, and Floyd is the only man I'm 100% confident in that would be able to tax that ass completely.Comment

I've even seem some guys claim Pacquiao as a natural FW, even though Roach has admitted that Manny has trouble making 135
Pacquiao would be Floyd's biggest challenge, and yet some guys still hate....sadComment

Pretty much everyone here wants to see any of the following:
Floyd/Pac
Floyd/Cotto
Floyd/Shane
Anyone other than that after a bout with Marquez is purely unnaceptable.Comment

As for Marquez, I'm a huge Marquez supporter. Obviously I would want him to beat Floyd, but I'm not sure he could. I'd support him all the way though. And stylistically, I think the match would be amazing for me to see.
However, most wouldn't. I'm a huge fan of the defensive and counterpunching aspects of the sport, so watching Juan Manuel and Money May trying to figure each other out would almost make me bust a nut.Comment
