I think your crazy you say in your opinion cotto is tune up if marquez is one except mosley but cotto beat mosley and I think he has a better chance of beating mayweather than mosley does. Also I dont believe your theory that cotto is not a complete fighter and that marquez is the second smartest boxer behind hopkins whateva you smoking pass that **** ova here. Third but not least mayweather is already used to fighting bigger guys is bigger than marquez faster than marquez better defense than marquez and doesnt get hit alot unlike marquez. Floyd wins this one WIDEEEEEEEEe. its going to look like what it is called a Tune up
Floyd Mayweather jr's next fights should be........

I think you’re crazy you say in your opinion cotto is tune up if Marquez is one except Mosley but cotto beat Mosley and I think he has a better chance of beating mayweather than Mosley does. Also I don’t believe your theory that cotto is not a complete fighter and that Marquez is the second smartest boxer behind Hopkins whatever you smoking pass that **** ova here. Third but not least mayweather is already used to fighting bigger guys is bigger than Marquez faster than Marquez better defense than Marquez and doesn’t get hit allot unlike Marquez. Floyd wins this one WIDEEEEEEEEe. its going to look like what it is called a Tune up
Miguel Cotto- Swings wide
- Waste Punches
- has a weak chin
- Can’t stop straight right hands or uppercuts,
- Under progressing in the lateral movement department.
- Get's hit too easy
He gets hit too much and swings too wide. and at this level you cannot let top notch athletes hit an average on 20-35 times a round and expect to last long, When you got fighters who have the power to hurt you and knock you out.Margarito prove that.
For me what makes a fighter a great boxer is not just going in their just slugging it out in a 'see who falls first' scenario.
It is seeing some real skill and artistry in the ring.
JMM
Is probably the smartest Mexican boxer since Oscar and I believe he is smarter than a prime Oscar. The guy gets my full respect for some of the things he does in the ring.
Marquez does two things extremely well.
1. Fights in rhythm
Only a few fighters in boxing know how to fight in rhythm. Floyd, Roy, Calzaghe, and JMM. Are some that do it the best.
What do I mean by fighting in Rhythm?
There are usually two different overall rhythmic forms, what I call the set-up rhythm.
- preparing to punch or waiting to counterpunch, depending on the style of the boxer
The rhythm of offensive motion and the rhythm of defensive motion.
However JMM like many great boxers varies these rhythms in subtle ways that are difficult for opponents to time, and he can seamlessly flow from one rhythmic form to the next without any break in the forms. Usually the opponent is not even aware that the transition has occurred until it is too late.
This is the main reason why JMM usually knocks his opponents out late.
Because they are not usually aware of when changing his rhythm and takes apart your offense and defense.
The guy is very smart. This is why Pacquaio had sooo much trouble with him,
And would have so much trouble with Floyd.
2. Accuracy
Offensively JMM," places his shots," he is not just wasting energy throwing punches. Even when he is in these defensive stances he is looking for well placed shots in the middle of the other boxer's flurries Notice that his eyes are wide open and they are seeing everything that is happening.
With many other top fighters this is not the case.
Nothing can replace technical skill in boxing nothing.
And JMM has allot of technical skill.
This is why JMM is p4p #2 in the sport and Cotto is not even in the top 10.!!!

I love how the claim to floyd's greatness is that he's 5 division champ. And yet if Pacquiao beats Hatton it makes him 6 division champ and therefore > than Mayweather.Comment
-
Floyd greatness is that he became a 5 division champion in 8 years and remain undefeated doing it.
He did it faster than anybody and better than anybody...!!
he is undefeated.
Mayweather >> History of boxing when going up in weight
he beat the logic in boxing plain and simpleComment

Are you ******????

He succeeded using the same carefully planned logic u say he defied. I will acknowledge his greatness at 130 and 135. Anything he's done beyond that is a sham. Carefully picking belts and fighters he knew without a shadow of a doubt he could beat without breaking a sweat. All while carefully avoiding fighters that posed anything close to resembling a legitimate threat.
Pacquiao beating Hatton at 140!!!(emphasis on proper weight division) would make Pacquiao the 1st 4 division lineal champ in boxing history. and only the 2nd fighter in boxing history to have belts in 6 weight division.
You can sit here and talk about Mayweather's undefeated record and talent all you want...you and i both know when it comes to boxing history it doesnt amount to much. Rocky Marciano was a tremendous fighter who retired undefeated. Arguably the greatest heavyweight of all time...but he isnt ranked so. Why??? Because his competition for the bulk of his career was mediocre at best. He wasnt able to prove his greatness against a truly worthy opponent. Same goes for Mayweather.Comment

fought was Baldomir....who by logic....and a lucky win due to judah's history of mental breakdowns....was the ring champ. He did not fight Cotto, Margarito, or any other welterweight at the time. He fought anyone but an actual welterweight.....that's not much of a claim at a welterweight title run.Comment
