So if Suger Ray Robinson quit then whats the big deal about other fighters quitting?

    It was around 100 degrees in the audience, under the lights in the ring...it was probably even hotter. Robinson had to quit, he collapsed of heat exhaustion and almost died...

        I really only have a problem with quitting unless a fighter doesn't give an honest effort and is ripping off the fans with his non-effort.

                  THERES A DIFFRENCE!!!!If you go out like a ***** like oscar thats a completly diffrent thing then what Cotto or izzy did busting there ass giving it there all then just quitting like oscar did

                    In the HBO Documentary about SRR's life, I believe they stated that he almost died and that his body was not the same for months after this fight. Robinson would have won had the fight gone the distance, but he was smaller than Maxim and couldn't sustain the heat.

                      Whats the diffrence? In fact the oscar-pac man fight was a hundred times more lopsided than Cotto-Margarito or Izzy-Marquez.


                      So if anything Oscar had more of a reason to quit than Izzy or cotto.
