FYI, Juan is the guy interpreting for Barerra in the post fight interview at ringside
Only thing I didn't like is his claim that it was an intentional headbutt, when it was very obviously an accidental clash of heads.

With his age and the fact that its 30 stitches down to the bone,I would say he wont fight for at least 6 months, also, does anybody know if it was the same cut as in his last fight?

No it wasn't, it was in a slightly different position.

Yes if there were to be a rematch it would have to be Khan's next but one fight, or maybe even his next but two fight, due to the time it'll take for the cut to completely heal.

'The butt by khan was shameless'. I've heard it all now. They actually think amir purposly headbutt him. Even more ammunition for the haters. I've said this about a million times already - if barrera couldn't see, he had the chance to tell the doc. The doctor was talking to him for a significant amount of time. What do you think they were talking about? Maybe the doc was asking him what fajitas are like in mexico.

Do people honestly think that barrera said 'im as blind as a bat' but the doc let it continue anyway? What a load of ****!! Barrera is an experienced pro, he should know better than to fight with a bad cut. In my eyes he's got no-one to blame but himself. He thought he could catch khan and knock him out! But, he's to small and to slow. A rematch wouldn't be any different!

Lets have a rematch then, it will be even worse for Barrera.

I really don't see the point in a re match. What's in it for either guy.

Was a shame the fight stopped in R5. But it's not worth doing the whole thing again just for another 7.

We'd just see more of the same for longer.

yes it was accidental was the headbutt, but its the refs and docs job to stop the fight not MAB, any other fight with a cut that bad would have been stopped and thats a fact, blood affecting vision is always a stoppage. 3 inch cut from round 1 god danm of course it should be stopped,

any way lets wait and see what emerges down the line, he is prob still number one or two with the WBO which was odd in the first place considering he aint in the top twenty with any other organisation and khan is like 30/35 in most aswel

We only saw under two minutes of a fit to be in the ring-two eyed-depth perception capable (need two eyes to judge distance best) Barerra out of the five rounds.

I'm guessing that if he was capable of seeing out of two eyes and didn't have to change his gameplan, stay on the outside against a taller, longer armed fight and go for single lunging punches to get a ko because everyone knew that cut was going to stop the fight............I don't know maybe things would've panned out differently?

                    Maybe it's just me.

I'm going to have call bull**** on this one, because I dont see Khan been able to keep that up for 12 rounds, Barrera would of cought up with him in the laters rounds for sure.
