Yeah I agree, I think Cortez could have given Hatton a little more leeway... but grappling opponents like he does is still illegal in Boxing, but yeah your right, I said that in the other thread fairly Cortez could have given him more leeway.I think Mayweather was lucky in the respect that Cortez influenced the fight slightly. Hatton became more reckless after the meaningless point deduction, which is why he walked into that check hook. If said this before, world class fighters should never get caught with a check hook. I still think Mayweather would have beaten Hatton because Ricky is too easy to hit and Floyd is too accurate, but it would have been closer than a 10th TKO for sure IMO.
But, yes Weebler does talk ****!
Either way Mayweather won and still would have won... he isn't on the same level as Mayweather, isn't of the same caliber as Mayweather... and is hit too easily. Well then we both agree on something, I think he is just biased towards Hatton because of his being British.Comment

The fight was a good stoppage. Right after the ref called it off, Hatton fell on his own without being further hit. Hatton was very hurt after the first knockdown and PBF was backing him up to the ropes which is why the ref stopped it to prevent further damage to Hatton. If the ref didnt stop it, PBF would have put him down again so how can anyone say it wasnt a legit stoppage.Comment
