The check left hook and the ring post did the most damage but when Hatton got up(and on ***** street) and Floyd had him on the ropes, he landed a right hand which sent Hatton to the canvas for the second time and the fight was stopped. The check left hook wasn't the punch that KO'd Hatton.

Mayweather's punches prevented Hatton from finishing the fight. A ring post has nothing to do with it. This isn't The Undertaker and Kurt Angle, a ringpost isn't gonna do that kind of damage. Why do you think Hatton doesn't even mention that? Why do you think the announce team wasn't like, "Holy ****, he might have been REALLY hurt from that.' Announce teams have been around rings for years, they'd know if doing that would seriously hurt you. Not to mention, the posts have padding. If you look at the clip, it cushions his head. Quit making excuses.

FOR THE RECORD, it'd still be a stoppage. People have been KO'd out of the ring and hit the ground hard and didn't make it back, it's still a stoppage.

          End of thread.

He stopped him, and with style, but IMO he didn't "knock him the fuck out". Hatton did well to take all those potshots for so long. They were good shots, and Floyd's the man in that ring.

1:34 was the punch that finished Hatton.

And it wasn't a right hand, my mistake.

No I changed my mind. It was all Cortez's fault. Hatton should be allowed to body slam and bulldog all his opponents.
