Nonetheless, EVEN IF THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN. You do have to work on the inside. And when two fighters are usually holding on the inside, the ref gets into the habit of breaking them up. And thankfully, fights would be ridiculously boring. I'm all for mauling a guy, but you gotta throw SOMETHING. Cortez shouldn't change his reffing habits because Hatton is in the ring, he's a guy who seperates fighters once he sees him on the inside and not working. He rarely gives time, and the Hatton camp was OKay with him, wanted him before the fight.

      END OF STORY.
then why did he let Hopkin hang on to Calzaghe all night without doing nothing?

sorry Cortez was a biased butthead and he cost Hatton a decent shot

I've got to ask this question: Have you actually watched the fight? Because your comments make you sound like Steve Carell in The 40 Year Old ******.

I'm pretty sure PBF hit him and he went down, promtin the fight to end. Last I checked that's a KO.

Sure he did and the right hook which knocked him down had nothing to do with it?

no, PBF hit him and he went head-first into the ringpost - THEN he went down. It wasn't a knockout punch, he got up again.

he was never down again whilst the fight was on, fat boy jumped in for the last time and then Hatton fell over himself.
