If I threw you into a wall and you were knocked out, would people call it a knockout or would they say: 'Weebler threw that jerk iecen into a wall and he was knocked out' - the wall being the key factor.

either way Hatton wasn't knocked out, Cortez stopped the fight when he was still standing.

Mayweather is not a knockout puncher so people shouldn't get it twisted.

the check hook wasn't a ko punch, hatton fought on, but the ringpost did the damage.

Hatton was still able to fight on and even when Mayweather threw his last punch, Hatton was still standing -eventually falling over by himself with exhaustion.

Mayweather isn't a knockout artist and Hatton could take his punches, but the double hit of the ringpost was too much, bad luck.

62 people think otherwise... Weebler let it go an accept defeat, accept that Hatton was outclassed and KO'd by Mayweather, and accept that Mayweather is a better fighter than Hatton and that he didn't win by luck. You are wrong, we all are sometimes... accept it, get over it, and move on.

look i highly respect hatton as a person and a fighter but that was a ko..if he were in the middle of the ring he wouldve gone down..it was a perfect punch and hard..you could here it sound off..he got up cause he's all heart...when cortez jumped in to stop it he was going down his legs gave out...he took a beating rounds 8-10....
