It's hard to predict the final outcome of the fight between Hatton and Pacquiao. Let's just wait and see, but one thing is sure though it will be a great fight. Hope that both fighters will do their best to give the boxing fans a memorable fight.

PLEASE DON'T COMPARE A FAKE SMILING FRAUD OF A FIGHTER, WITH TRUE FIGHTERS LIKE HANK, ROBERTO, JJC, W.GOMEZ, HAGLER, ALI, JUST BECAUSE HE'S BEEN ABLE TO GENERATE MORE REVENUE THAN ALL ABOVE MENTIONED FIGHTERS PUT TOGETHER, DOES NOT MEAN HE IS A TRUE FIGHTER. A BUISNESS MAN YES. BY FAR. A WARRIOR? don't think so...100X35...
The word to note is claimant. He did it in six; doesn't mean they were all notable or strong claims. Calm down.

Ledwaba was not the best titleholder, but he was solid, and we all know diaz was serviceable at best. I have a feeling that your series is going to show some of our overzealous posters that winning a 'world title' in different weight classes doesn't mean jack ****. However, being a lineal champion has real historic meaning. Although there are some lineal champs who are not as legit (and this discussion will certainly come up), they still mean more than being a titleholder.

      Part 2 today please?
Thanks and LOL...gonna' have to wait on Part II. I'll be digging in right up until the fight.

He didn't beat 3 of the 4 best Lightweights. He beat three really good Jr. Lights and Rafael Ruelas. He was not lineal at 35; he needed to at least beat Nazarov for that.

Good job! I disagree on the claim to the lineal 130 title being 'clean' given that it was mostly a bunch of (great) 126 fighters fighting each other, and that Valero and Guzman are still unbeaten now...

i dont like the pacquaio has a clear claim to the title bit in 130....i mean i wouldnt call a controversial SD with no rematch a clear claim.......i mean i know youre just saying it in terms of what the book says, but its still annoying.......not to mention he fought a guy coming off losses 3 times, a featherweight contender, a featherweight washup and a 130 fringe contender....................aside of marquez, not one win over a top 4 130lber.....

I understand the point and noted Guzman. Valero has one quality, mid-top-ten level win; still does. However, those 126ers also knocked off other titlists like Chavez, Hernandez and Peden to establish themselves the cream at 130 as well. Pretty much everyone agreed JMM-Pac II was the two best in class so I have no trouble with recognizing the winner especially with both exiting right thereafter.

Ruelas would be the only proper lightweight

Chicanito, JJ Leija, and JJ Molina were really 130 fighters.

But 40, 37 and 54 is plenty good...
