Pretty much everyone agreed JMM-Pac II was the two best in class so I have no trouble with recognizing the winner especially with both exiting right thereafter.
I see that if one HAD TO pick a lineal champ that was *the* fight, but my point is really there no one 'had to'. I don't rate Valero but he was still a champ and unbeaten. Anyways the main spot I see on the 'clear' is Guzman which you noted, and a lot of people were rightfully bothered by him not being included in the big fights. What can you do... money is money

Also have to consider that at the time of Pac-JMM II Guzman was already aiming to vacate at 130 and move up to 135 where he couldn't even make weight. makes for an easy call.

My point is that, if you had to make the call, that was the easy call, but not all divisions have a lineal champ, and it is not that clear that the call needed to be made at the time IMO. Am I making sense?

The reporter meant that the 6th title will be for the Ring mag belt.

                  Why not?

If you would rank them who will be at your #1 and #2 slots?

We're talking of 130 and the #3 Guy didnt even make weight in his next fight in a higher divison.

Valero? Not needed in the equation #1 and #2 are fighting doesnt matter if they came from minimumweight. They beat legit belt holders/champions at 130

i know you find that funny, but if you saw that fight youd understand why i and others dont rate diaz almost at all. He was getting absolutely dominated and Santa Cruz's ******ity lost him that fight, Santa Cruz basically got lax late in the fight and then got caught, it was almost like Peden/Campbell to me. Diaz was the worst titleholder at 135 without a doubt.
