If pac got in the ring with casamayor and juan diaz it would have meant 10x more to his legacy than diaz and de la hoya. HOWEVER, if you were reading what i said, which you likely werent i said this

I dont blame pac for the DLH fight,
Because i dont, DLH was begging for pac, and DLH got what he deserved, however the way that fight played out said alot more about de la hoya than it did about pacmans greatness. Pacman gets all the credit he could possibly get from beating down de la hoya like he did. But the fact is that the fight didint matter much, it wasnt for a title and it wasnt a division that pac actually planned to fight in.

Casamayor and Juan Diaz actually matter, they were the top guys in the their respective division and both of them were considered THE GUY at one point in the last 2 years in their division. What JMM did against those two is just as good as beating a washed up de la hoya and a terrible david diaz. Even if you consider the weight jump pac made. However a good victory over ricky hatton, the linear 140 champ, would definately offset JMM's accomplishment because Hatton is in his semi prime and this would be one division above JMM.

And i hope you know that im not mexican, im black, so dont even think of throwing bias based on any nationality in this, it does nothing for me to see either on top, im just saying how i feel, i can see this clearly bothers you.

cool i misread someparts, and i respect your non biased opinion. if you feel those 2 were better victory's i have no problems with that. i just feel pac aint getting the respect he is getting for that fight. how opinions can change from pac will get brain damage by hoya, to overated and the fight didn't mean nothing. you cant have it both ways.

delahoya was drained and everyone knew he was no longer in peak, what i dont understan is why people forget to mention that pac fougt the most disciplined fight and boxed the way he has never done before. that performance was impressive and people are overlooking one of his most complete performances ever. the pac that fought that night would have made a lot of fighters look bad.

I get what you;re saying, but in terms of pac's career, the win over DLH is better than wins over both casamayor and juan diaz. Pac got his biggest payday against DLH and the glory and fame pac got from fighting dlh is pricless.

in terms of the lightweight division though, pac vs. casamayor and diaz would mean more, but Pac is bigger than the lightweight division now. and those fights, while meaningful for the division, aren't and werent meaningful for pac's career in the long run

for haters, pac will never ever get the credit. and like you said earlier, if pac and jmms wins were switched, they would give more props for jmm jumping divisions to fight ddiaz dlh than pac vs jdiaz/casa. jdiaz would turn out to be a bum!

In no world but the bizarro world would Juan Diaz be a bum considering he once held nearly every major title in the division.

I beg to differ legacywise but the argument isnt far fetched enough for me to continually dispute it, its an opinion i can live with even if it differs with mine.
