I still can't believe people picked Kelly to beat Bernard. I hate to pat myself on the back, but goddamn I called that one a mile away. To be fair : A few others here did as well. But for the most part, it was all "Kelly by KO".
    Even as a HUGE B-Hop fan, I'll admit I wasn't that confident in B-Hop

And yes, I meant what I said. So Mr. Thread Starter, YOU FAIL

The hype got to you, that's all. ****, it's happened to me before too, though never with Hopkins fighting. If I've come to know anything about 'Nard over the years, it's that he's at his most dangerous when his back is against a wall. That's why I predicted the shutout.

I remember you asking me how confident I was in a B-Hop victory, and I believe I told you 75% or something like that.

For the record, I'm only ever above 80% sure when the fight is a complete mismatch. Something like Marquez/Juarez.

Haha well I'm gonna ask you again. How confident would you be in B-Hop against Adamek at CW? Honestly, I'm little worried

'Nard vs. Adamek, I got a 70% chance of a Hopkins victory by UD.

Adamek is a good fighter, and he's fun to watch for sure. But Hopkins is a great fighter.

Add on to that, that Adamek doesn't do anything that Hopkins doesn't have a counter for, and the X factor : Hopkins wants that 3rd World Title. It's about legacy for Hopkins, and how well has he done in the past when he felt a fight was for his legacy? (Tito, Oscar, Tarver, Pavlik)

Adamek's only chance is a knockout, and how many times have you seen Bernard hurt? Let alone tagged clean.

I don't think that's possible for someone like Hopkins. He's a gymrat, and has a very strict diet regimen, you know all about that though.

He lives and dies for this.

The only serious threat to him is the possible return of the thyroid condition, which would effect his stamina. But I'm sure he has that on lockdown as well. Naazim seemed to help him with that, because where he had a stamina issue in the fights when Roach coached him, he no longer had it when Naazim returned.

I believe Hopkins said that he and Naazim were treating it with dieting techniques.

Id say for a fighter to lose his very first profesional fight and come back to acomplisihed what he has is pretty impressive. Dont forget...He did put Calzaghe on his ass,and that was a split decision; ugly but very close fight. Can you name one guy who really f8cked Hopkins up....NObody. Mad props to B-hop
