Is your agenda to say that Hopkins was in his prime when he fought Calzaghe?

Am I alone in thinking Pavlik isn't a spectacular win? I rate the Glen Johnson win of 1997 higher.

You're not alone. Kelly is an extremely overhyped, extremely limited fighter. No disrespect to the Middleweight King, but he's not Hopkins' "greatest victory ever" as the thread starter states.

The Trinidad win, the Tarver schooling, and the Johnson win, were all much more significant IMO.

I still can't believe people picked Kelly to beat Bernard. I hate to pat myself on the back, but goddamn I called that one a mile away. To be fair : A few others here did as well. But for the most part, it was all "Kelly by KO".

yea i agree.. the amount of disrespect bhop was getting was terrible.. Pavlik can't box, he basically a one dimensional fighter.. He does have some good traits such as having good stamina, can take a punch and has decent power, but he was overrated..

To be real, B-Hop already had names in his resume who'd of beaten Pavlik. Echols, Johnson, Mercado and Tito would have beaten Pavlik
