It's all about money, and mainstream recognition.

To us, we say Pac beat a weight drained Oscar and has no business in the ring with Cotto or Mosley.

But to the average fan, the majority of America? If Cotto or Mosley destroy Pac(most likely scenario) it's like "Whoa this guy just beat the pound for pound number 1 fighter in the world. The same guy that just beat the **** outta DLH!"

They don't look at it like we do. So if Cotto or Mosley beat Pac, they automatically turn into a bigger draw because they beat a bigger draw and not only do they make a career high pay day for that fight, but for future fights. Plus, it throws their name in the hat for a potential(dare I say it) PBF scrap.

Business wise it's logical to do. To us hardcore boxing fans it's bull****. But this kind of thing comes with the territory.

Its not that I dont see a problem, I reckon that the most likely scenario is Pac getting KTFO, but theres not that big of nae at WW or higher, so for Cotto or any other to get to that Millions of dollars status Pacquiao is the door, if instead of Pac it was JMM il call BS, because theres nothing to gain form it, but Pac have a chance of winning, even if is a very slim one and thats make the fight interesting a bit.

People just say it was close because Cotto was outboxing the **** out of shane in the last 4 rounds and they werent use to see Cotto back pedaling.Even backing up he was outlanding Mosley. Mosley only won 4 rounds in my view and 2 were close rounds that could of gone either way, he won 3 and 12 clearly and 4 and 10 were close but I gave them to Mosley, the rounds Cotto won he won clearly, he controlled the pace, he landed more and more effective!!!!!!!

Like I said, I have to see it again. I haven't watched it in a couple of months. When I did see it, I scored it for Cotto but not by much.

This is like the Cotto Margarito fight. You had Cotto up by 2 Rounds if I remember correctly while I had the fight even going into the round he got KOed.

1. Nobody in their right mind thought Oscar would get beaten and outclassed as bad as he did, so obviously now everyone is curious to how Pac would fair against a Floyd, Mosley and Cotto.

2. He's the #1 P4P fighter in the world, and it's not like he's a Featherweight coming up to Welterweight overnight. He's gradually moved up and gotten better in every fight, so again..people are just mad curious.

If some of ya'll did some research you'd know that there have been a number of fighters who climbed up and fought guys bigger than them and still managed to win. One name that comes to mind is Willie Pep. Read up on him a little.
