DLH did the same thing for a bigger amount of $$$ than another fight and caught heat. Yes, it might be a bit different now because of the way Pac won. Remember this though, those 2 guys are the top of the WW chain.

..but I don't think it should excuse anyone from wanting to take a fight with him if it's offered. It won't be the Be All, End All of Boxing. People are curious to see what Pacman would do against a prime WW after what he did to Oscar and it's not as if Pac is a slouch to say the least.

If dudes were fighting like this (moving weight class to weight class) in the 20s and 30s, why can't anyone do it now? Boxing didn't begin in 1975. There's a reason why Pac's career is being compared to Pep and Armstrong because he's doing **** they did over 70 years ago.

I don't see why people don't embrace these type of fights. A good amount of the people were proven wrong (including me) last December. Who's to say that can't happen again? That's why we watch Boxing.

If you're Cotto or Mosley's promoter and you have a signed contract from Pacquiao knowing a Cotto vs Mosley II is inevitable, you wouldn't have them sign that contract?

I dont count David Diaz as a good win. Pac is still unproven at 135 and up

                Cotto didn't fight Williams.

Pacquiao is too small to fight at 147.
