Hatton is a pretty big guy, and is comfortable to WelterWeight.

The only reason he is at LW is because in all seriousness, he would lose every big bout at Welter

that's one of the biggest problems with boxing of late...a fighter makes weight, then comes into a fight 10-15 pounds heavier....In this case this ahole Hatton is already telling the world his plan.....I hate Hatton as a fighter, I despise his grabbing, hitting and holding wrestling style its very very ugly and borderline dirty...I hope that Manny is able to pull off the victory, and totally make Hatton eat his words.....If Hatton loses this, he should have absolutely NO EXCUSE........The question then becomes what's next for him if he happens to win this fight.........

Quite frankly if he's saying he'll be comfortable weighing 154lbs, then he should outright call Cotto out...Let's see if he will... doubt it though

        Exactley.

Funny how he won't fight Welters because their not in his "Natural" weight.

I'm from the UK too son..

Hatton is a good fighter mate, but that does not mean you agree with everything he does or says mate, unless you want to be a tool...

Hatton has taken a lot of risks, don't get me wrong, but come on, the guy is a Welter, not a Light Welter.

To be fair, he's credited Pacquiao with being a great fighter in many interviews, and said he felt honoured to have been given the chance to fight him; and even in this one he did say that no one expects him to win.

I was wondering that myself. Is a 147 gatekeeper like Collazo really that different to a former undisputed 140 champ like Tszyu? Then again, he struggled against both men similarly (although I had him ahead on the scorecards in each fight), and neither of them have anywhere near the handspeed, head movement or footwork as Pac.

Thing is, it's getting on the inside which is Hatton's trouble. As good as he looked against Paulie (and I genuinely did think he fought a better game against him than he did against Tszyu and Collazo), every time he tried his new-found feinting to get close to him, he got clacked with sharp shots... until Paulie hugged him for dear life, of course.

So whatever him and Daddy Floyd have up their sleeves, I would hope it focuses on Hatton's head movement and earmuffs when approaching someone on the inside. If he can get within short range of Pac and start laying into him with body shots and uppercuts, this fight is his all the way. However, if it's fought from a longer range, Hatton's dead meat (and this is a fan of his talking!)

Do you despise Hopkins then? What about Duran, La Motta, Sandy Saddler, or Marciano? For that matter, what about Tszyu before he fought Hatton? I don't understand why Hatton gets so much criticism for using rough house tactics when many all time greats have been admired for it.
