Hatton fouled Tszyu into submission that night. Though Tsyzu more than played ball.

And Castillo? Please, everbody knew he was shot going into that fight. He fought Ricky Hatton in that fight for free.

I hate these excuses. If you play the game, prepared to get beat at any time. That's just the way it is. Too old? Then get out the game. It's up to the fighters to be smart enough to realize when they are done.
we are talking about 30 year olds. Not 40 yr. old roy jones jr, who been knockout cold twice and been shot for the last 4-5 years. Calzaghe was CHERRY PICKING because prior to that fight, who said Jones was a top lightweight. NOBODY. Even my Fish in a damn fishbowl know Roy Jones is shot.

Morales was 30 when Pac beat him in the 2nd match, he wasn't nowhere near shot. Pacquiao is 30 right now, so is he SHOT??

Barrera was 29 when Pac TKO'd him the 1st fight. NOWHERE NEAR SHOT.

Marquez was 31 when they Got a Draw, and 34 when Pac Beat him. Marquez is the oldest out of the 3, so IS HE SHOT????
        I was defending Pacquiao................

I think the word SHOT is overrated.

          Their are shot fighters tho
          like
Roy Jones Jr.... since he got knocked out, he cant pull the trigger no more, and lost his superhuman reflexes. He's SHOT.

Except for MAB and EM, Pac beat them and were shot already at 29 years old

Seriously, the guy walks around at a weight something like 180lbs, he fights at 140lbs, why? Because he'd be killed at either 135 or 147.

So he fights at 140lbs where he can keep his inflated record and big name preserved....Well, at least until May 2nd anyway.

            WAR Pac!
Just because he gets fat in between fights, he sucks?????? I guess Duran sucks ass too then.

I don't think that's an excuse for anything. I just don't Hatton is as good as he was, age or not. His style makes for short careers.
And Manny is well preserved and in his prime because of his style???hahaha.
Like I said the dudes are giving props to Marquez for beating an amazing fighter that lost to nate campbell yet discrediting Ricky Hatton who only lost to mayweather at 147... Thats just straight bias. Ricky>>>>>>Juan Diaz..

He handled him in 4 rounds and ended it with a body shot... I don't think the shot factor comes into play with that win.

Today someone put up a thread talking about old fighters beating young ones isnt good for boxing, and they put JMM in it lol. Hell, some guy tried to tell me Ponce De Leon was old. They just want to contuine with the same **** ovr and over again. But Pacman is a far better than JMM.
