Hmmm...maybe, but I think Pac is definitely a naturally bigger guy than Marquez. It's just the way he is framed and his body type. Also the way he adds on weight is more natural for him. He is much more solid and takes the higher weight much better. I know what you mean kind of, but even though Marquez was taller than Diaz (one inch taller), he looked a lot smaller because his actual frame is naturally a lot smaller. Diaz was a ****e load more solid, bigger muscled etc, and that's at 25. Marquez at that age was a small FW.
Pacquiao at the moment would probably have to push himself to make it to 135. I think he could do it easily with the proper work, but it would still be a push to make it, you know? Marquez is just moving up for the hell of it. His body is not telling him to. He could have fought the rest of his career at 130 easily without ever really struggling to make the weight. It's just the way his body is smaller framed. Like that freak Funeka. He is friggin' ginormous but he makes lightweight well, because his frame is naturally very small. Same deal with Marquez.
Even though Marquez and Pac are the same height (I think Marquez might be about a centimeter or less taller) with the same reach, he is and has even until 35, never had trouble making weight at FW or SFW because he is just a smaller-framed guy, whereas Pac at his late twenties was already bigger than Marquez and moving through FW, SFW up to LW. His body is just bigger.
Not that any of it really matters. I just think the best fight-weight would be 135. It would, I think anyway, create the best fight for us. After all, who cares about them eh? We all just want a great fight when it comes down to it, which is the only reason anyone wants to see them fight.
