Why Pacquiao vs Marquez Trilogy Won't Decide who's Better

If Pacquiao and Marquez ever face each other again, I don't think that the outcome would be decisive.

Whoever you believe won, both of their meetings were classic examples of evenly matched boxers.

Regardless of skills and talent, both are masters of adjustments during a fight. In the first bout, Marquez did a beautiful job of recovering and adjusting from three knockdowns. In the second fight, it was Pacquiao who made the adjustments, countering the counter-puncher.

It's like Batman and Joker, Superman and Lex Luthor, Wolverine and Sabretooth, no matter what happens, the outcome would be indecisive.

I think it's ****** if the third fight is at 140. It should be at 135.

The same people who say that Pacquiao shouldn't have to fight at 135, will say Mayweather should come to 140 for Mayweather-Pacquiao if it's made. Marquez will be slowed down at 140 imo and they should fight for Marquez's belt again.

Marquez said he was moving up anyway didn't he? So it'll proberbly be at 140.

I agree but manny doesn't like to fight fighters in there weight class...morales 2,3 oscar at 147 and if it happens jmm at 140...his 3 biggest fights he has done it,so he will rather fight jmm at 140 and hope jmm isn't comfortable at 140

Yeah it will, but personally it'd be more meaningful if it's at 135. Pacquiao and Marquez won't fight until next year imo. I doubt they'll fight each other. Pacquiao will fight Hatton and then Cotto.

Marquez will make a title defense and then the lightweight tourney.

Fact is JMM is chasing pac because he loss the second time. If pac loss he should fight where(weightclass) JMM wants to fight simple as that.

Pac fought morales at the weight he fought him in the first bout. He was only 1/2 a pound less then the first fight. He just smashed Morales.
