Why Boxing Is Better Than MMA

But 6-0-1 fighters do. As a matter of fact, more guys in boxing get BS title shots than in MMA. In MMA its generally THE BEST opponent available. In boxing its all about "what makes sense." In the case of Brock Lesnar the UFC went the "what makes sense" route for once and they get blasted by the boxing community.

If anybody gave anybody a chance it was Hop giving Tito the chance, Hop was the man at 160 not Tito.

Trinidad was the man with the name, no one cared about Hopkins, hop sed it himself, Tito and Oscar gave him his road to millions.

Tito could have easily just beaten Joppy, not faced Hopkins, and made some bs defenses and he would still be loved and Hop would go another 10 years as the champ no one would care about.

Tito gave Hop his fame and fortune just like Tito gave Wright his fame and fortune

Hop doesnt care about Dawson's dreams or age, lets cut the **** cuz Kelly Pavlik and Dawson are the same age. Hop doesnt want to fight Dawson because Dawson has no fanbase

I like mma as well as boxing, but you can argue Spinks deserved the title shot much more than Lesnar. Spinks was coming out of the Olympics with a gold medal which was a much bigger deal than it is now. Lesnar was years removed from real competition before he started mma.
