Why Boxing Is Better Than MMA

Boxing matches are talked about, dissected, and examined years after they happen. The what ifs of a particular bout have fans talking and debating for years, I dont get this sense from MMA contests, if Im wrong someone please enlighten me.

because we, as boxing fans, know this to be common sense...to the point that we dont feel the need to start threads validating this fact

we're not a bunch of immature MMA fans that need to bring down one sport to uplift another with comparison threads

    oh wait.........

Your actually very wrong. We still talk about Royce Gracie's early dominance and whether he'd be a contender to this very day. You know about things you like a lot. I'm sure you can tell me various past boxing champions but couldnt name me 3 (if any) Judo champions or Mundial BJJ champions.

Your thing is boxing, and thats cool, but no one sport is better then another one because its all a matter of opinion. I cant ***in stand Soccer and Bull Riding but let me go to the south and tell them that Nascar and Bull Ridin is garbage and we'll see how long I last

Boxing is better because in some of the MMA fights both guys just stay in the floor hugging each other and you guessing whats happening and one of them has no more and surrender.. thats why boxing is WAY better

Of course I do, i'm a boxing fan first. But I like both sports and even if I didnt like one, I'm not gonna bash it i'm just gonna see i'm not into it.

What you gotta relize is that us as boxing fans are the minority. When Football fans, basketball fans ask us wat we are into and we say boxing most of them are dumbfounded at how we can watch it because they think it sucks. "When do you see any boxing on Sportscenter".

Thats why I dont like it when some of you guys bash on MMA cuz other sports fans are bashing us and we are turning around and doing the same thing.

BTW tell B Hop to stop playing and fight Chad Dawson if Dawson beats Tarver again

                  i don't think tahts true.
you still have lots of discussions if certain fights would have gone another way if the fighter would have a better strategy.
the big problem is that you need to be very knowlegeble (spelling ?! ) to discuss high level mma bouts because the skill level is extreme high in each area of teh game.
another problem are guys that say stuff like "they are just humping each other .... ghey ghey ghey teh gheyness..!"
it is hard to understand groundfighting or real wrestling if you never have done it or at least have some experience in it. if one of those guy would get into a fight with a groundfighter he would pass out in 1 min and piss himself.

another problem is that there are very few really big fights in mma, but still you have a good bunch that still keep the interest of teh community.

Because crush or not he'd be giving him a chance he deserves. And Dawson aint no pushover, Dont forget he's beaten Tarver who Hop beat, and Adamek, who Hop supposedly wants to beat
