I really don't know how you can say that, how many paper champs and bums have won belts in boxing? there are so many belts flying around that anybody with a padded record and good connections could manage to get a shot at one

well to be fair, lesnar got it because he brings in the money, meaning 1+ million PPV buys, I'm sure there are enough boxing champs out there who would jump at the chance of fighting a 2-1 fighter if it means getting a cut of that PPV

I'm not sure if thats accurate yet, time will tell. But either way Boxing if far better than simply brawling, wrestling and fighting.....I really don't see how anyone with a real appreciation for the sport of boxing could like MMA better.

If anybody gave anybody a chance it was Hop giving Tito the chance, Hop was the man at 160 not Tito.

I love to watch MMA until Lesnar knocked Couture... The reason I hate MMA not because Couture lost but because of Lesnar's record of 2-1... I can't imagine until now how he got an opportunity to fight in championship... LOL... In boxing, you need to overcome a lot of obstacles before having a championship fight... MMA has no credibility to me...

Also Mixed Martial Arts has A LOT LESS to do with WIN/LOSS records than Boxing does. Its a major difference in the culture of the sports, but Boxing purists refuse to acknowledge this fact.
