According to CNN Money - Fortune, these are the top ten athletes in order of money made from endorsements in 2007:

      1. Tiger Woods - 2007 endorsement income (est.): $100 million
      2. Phil Mickelson - 2007 endorsement income (est.): $47 million
      3. LeBron James - 2007 endorsement income (est.): $25 million
      4. Dale Earnhardt Jr. - 2007 endorsement income (est.): $25 million
      5. Michelle Wie - 2007 endorsement income (est.): $19.5 million
      6. Kobe Bryant - 2007 endorsement income (est.): $16 million
      7. Jeff Gordon (tie) - 2007 endorsement income (est.): $15 million
      8. Shaquille O'Neal (tie) - 2007 endorsement income (est.): $15 million
      9. Peyton Manning - 2007 endorsement income (est.): $13 million
      10. Dwyane Wade - 2007 endorsement income (est.): $12 million

My question to you is what white basketball player(s) deserves to have a shoe over these athletes?

I'm not saying that black athletes don't get endorsed because they obviously do. A great black basketball player will almost always get endorsements over an average white player. You have make the consideration with all things equal. So if hypothetically we have two athletes who are the exact same from personality to skill chances are the white athlete will be favored. There are of course exceptions to the rule but a majority of the time this is the case.

Shane had the PERFECT additude and it didint matter. What kind of additude did Barry Bonds have? Before the steroids thing, he had all KINDS of endorsements from equipement with his name on it to shaving products. You are living in a fantasy world. lol @ you thinking companies look at additude when many pro players have a rap sheet much bigger than floyds non-convictions.
Shane, if you will pardon the expression, is vanilla. Bonds was aruably the greatest hitter ever in this country's most historical sport. He was a face we saw on tv and the front pages at least 6 months a year. And as sullen as he could be with the media, outside of baseball he led a pretty clean life.

Actually you should be laughing at yourself for thinking companies don't believe in apearences. Sure, there are plenty of guys with endorsements with worse records or sheets than Floyd. How any of them are considered the face of their particular sport or the best at it? In case you have forgotten my friend, boxings reputation isn't and historicly hasn't been anything to write hme about.

Blacks havent cared about boxing since the decline of Roy Jones jr and Tyson, its just a fact. They dont cover boxing like they used to, american fighters PERIOD do not have a huge following unless they start thowing another countries flag on their shorts.
It has nothing to do with color or race. As soon as another (sincere) and charasmatic fighter with skills comes along the public will be captivated. Granted, that seems t happen fewer and farther in between these days because of the sports decline in popularity (at least in the US),but it wil inevitably happen again. Sponsers just have to be more finicky about who they decide to represent amongst a much saller fanbase.

Corperate america is about MONEY and nothing else, so long as it can be marketed, theyll do it.
So long as it can be marketed and it doesn't come back to bite them in the ass, they'll do it. Not for nothing, but outside of boxing Floyd isn't all that marketable. He's part of a sport that hardly gets any coverage on Sportscenter, and he's got a lousy attitude. Why would any cmpany want to invest in a risk where the would be a greater chance of less return? Baseball, basketball, football.....they got plenty of guys to fall back on if someone screws up. Boxing doesn't. THAT is why the endorsments aren't there.

I don't blame any fighter for doing what he has to do to earn a buck. But at the same time I can't play deaf, dumb and blind when the MAJORITY of America is turned off by those antics. Im not saying its right, but it is how it is. No?

WRONG! black people love fighting. I had 3 black guys at my place last night and they were going crazy! I know more than a handful of black guys that love boxing.

                      Stay on topic son
Uh, he is on topic. Mayweather is Black, and can be used as an example. The truth hurt your feelings so you retaliated with a ******ed comment about something irrelevant.
