The only time companies care to drop an endorsement is when alot of attention is spotlighted on one athelete and even then sometimes they STILL stick with them if they know they still have a marketable image.

The reason why black fighters dont have a following is because black people generally excel at a high level in more than one sport. The market share for top black athletes is very large, from football, to baseball and to basketball, there are a large number of top atheletes. For everyone else, its not like that. The top mexican, filipino, eastern european etc atheletes in each sport is nowhere near what black people experience in terms of success in sports in AMERICA.

    Please, stop lying.

You don't see Burress commercials anywhere. A Rods admission is a very recent one, and again, you don't see any commericials with his likeness anywhere. LMAO at your Kobe comment. The kid was all over commercials prior to 2003, since then, its been a slow return, and what we've seen has mostly been on youtube.

IMO, the reason they don't behind Black fighters as often as other races, or nationalities, is because they're always looking for someone who is overly dominant. They rarely get behind the Black fighter who has skills, but can be beaten. Once a Black fighter loses, they jump off.

I'm not saying that black athletes don't get endorsed because they obviously do. A great black basketball player will almost always get endorsements over an average white player. You have make the consideration with all things equal. So if hypothetically we have two athletes who are the exact same from personality to skill chances are the white athlete will be favored. There are of course exceptions to the rule but a majority of the time this is the case.
I disagree since most companies are always going to try and be as diverse as possible and as I already proved the most heavily endorsed athletes are black.

I don't follow basketball so I wouldn't know exactly who are the great white players. What about Dirk Nowitzki and Steve Nash, didn't they both recently win MVP's? If a white player was more marketable then those two should have loads of endorsements. Larry Bird is the only BB player that was heavily endorsed and I don't think even he had his own shoe line.

Tyson, Holyfield, Leonard are all fighters who had followings. There aren't any nowdays but if you go way back and look at guys like Robinson, Louis etc. Then Ali, Frazier, Foreman, were all popular.

What the hell? Kobe still has endorsements with his shoe and he is still in commercials here and there, Plaxico hasnt lost his shoe contract neither, A-Rod hasnt lost any of his endorsements yet neither. Endorsements dont always come down to commercials and all of that, alot of time they are just contracts that tell you just to wear a certain product or appear on some boxes somewhere. Honestly you have alot of boxing knowledge, but if you seriously wanna debate, im sure you didnt know that Wang Zhi Zhi also had several shoe endorsement contracts.

I know you have alot of boxing knowledge, but outside of that if you think endorsements simply come down to commercials your kidding yourself. Not to mention if you have been paying attention, kobe just signed one of the largest endorsements ever for a chinese based company.
