Pavlik is hiding behind Arum like a *****. Fighting garbage like Duddy, Rubio, Lockett, is fine, but you cant hide forever Kelly.

Belts may be unimportant to hardcore fans who can separate the good guys from the bad. For Joe Average a belt equals a world champion hence the best in the world, so the belts are good from a broadcasters marketing perspective.

Arum is just a ****ing *******. Pavlik can't fight Abraham because Abraham isn't a big enough payday, but ****ing Rubio is? Cotto can't fight Mosley because it isn't a big enough payday but ****ing Michael Jennings is?

What a crock of **** liar.

            Yes, Arum is lying.

He believes Abraham would win, and so he doesn't want to reduce Pavlik's value by having another loss, this time by KO, on his record.

Arum only wants to maximize his $ returns on Kelly over the next few years, and doesn't give the slightest consideration to what fights boxing fans want to see.

So it is with every promotor and manager untill the demand gets to high or the fighters want it to much. You cant really blame them. They do their job: Filling the fighters pockets with greenbacks the easiest way possible.

Fans suffer. But that's the way it's always been. Either the top guys dont fight each other or they fight each other when they are to old.

Quick example of the first is Hagler-Monzon and quick example of the second is Leonard-Hearns II.

HAHAHA! Yeah who has Abraham fought besides Kelly's leftovers of Miranda? Pavlik has fought and defeated stiffer competition, buddy.

Pavlik-Abraham would make a lot of money considereing the PPV buys it would generate in Germany. Also them Germans will drop their cash, and it would probably break records there.
