According to Miranda he was weight drained, but whatever. Before Kelly fought Miranda, Miranda damn near killed Arthur Abraham in the ring. After Kelly fought Miranda, Abraham dropped him with a couple of shots. Kelly put a brutal, vicious beating on Miranda.
And no matter how you slice it, Kelly still has the two wins over Jermain Taylor, Abraham hasnt done anything close to that. Arthur Abraham is the one with something to prove here. This is the problem with boxing, Kelly losses to a legend, in a catch weight more then a full weight class jump up, and all of the sudden he is overrated. Now there is a less proven and more limited fighter in Abraham, but everyone rates him higher now because he still has an 0 and hasnt had all of his weaknesses exploited. You would think people would learn from history.

Whether or not his promoter is afraid of anything does not change the fact that he IS the Champ.
However if Abraham wants the champ he should be willing to take the smaller purse, and fight on the Champs home court.

Ok let me talk straight now. I said that Pavlik has Taylor. Other than that he has nothing on AA. And it could be argued that Pavlik should have been stopped in the second round of the first Taylor fight and that Taylor won the second.

For the record I think Pavlik will defeat AA. But he has to get back to the form he was in when he fought Taylor. As it is now he takes way to many punches.

Pavlik can not overlook this. He has to adress this challenge. Otherwise he'll lose face here.

As Deanrw said this fight is far from a done deal, but if both guys issuses challenges somethings got to give. Both guys essentially has a pistol to the head. This fight must happen sooner rather than later. Otherwise AA is heading to 168.
Kessler should be taking notes from Abraham.

Taylor was nowhere near beating Pavlik in the 2nd fight, if you think that Taylor won that fight, you haven't seen it.

It's the other way around old chap. Kessler called out Calzaghe, Hopkins, Taylor, Dawson and Winky. They didn't want none. Let's see if AA has better luck.

Do you really think Pavlik beats Abraham? I think Pavlik might tire out wasting punches on Abraham's arms and then get taken out. I really hope they make this fight happen. It is the most important fight to be had at MW.
