Why doesn't anyone on here ever comment on the psyche of a boxer? Ricky no longer has to think about the hype and craziness of fighting on the top of the bill against the best P4P...he has done it before. He knows he is the bigger man. He also knows that he a completely different trainer. A trainer who is well-known for helping fighters improve their styles. This is unbelievable to the psyche of boxer. It makes you relax, feel comfortable, and more confident. That is the advantage Ricky has in this fight.

Forget body shots, and aggression, we all know from 234576238475 posts that ricky has these things. We also know that pac is the better boxer and faster...etc etc etc. I am curious to think about what Pac's mentality is. How does he feel about moving up in weight? I think we all know he knew ODLH was drained....so what is pac thinkin.

I'm tired of reading this of Oscars weight drained, another scrap excuses...we all know that from the very start their trainers Nacho & Dundee were very confident about winning the dream match & there's no weight issue or whatever...even at the end of the fight, Oscars clearly accepted his defeat that manny was the better man...Nacho said that Oscar cannot handle the versatility of Pacquiao... the style & versatility of Pacquiao had the same impact & delivered the same results w/ fighters like Barrera1, Diaz & Dela Hoya...they look the same in the ring, they don't know what to do of how to deal w/ Pac...its only a matter of style exposes the weaknesses of their respective opponents & the better man prevails at the end...

I think its not also right to say that pacquiao doesn't have defensive skills... Pacquiao has good defense also especially when he moves up his weight... He is now very cautious not to be hit unlike before that he really wanted to fight toe to toe with his opponent... I think he would also do the same with hatton, he will just try to move around and try to hit hatton and not be hit... That would be the gamplan of roach and pac for sure...

The problem would be if ever hatton can really close the gap and made to the inside and delivers body shots... But even though he can do that i think pacquiao can take them because if paulie can last 11 rounds with hatton which is way too far compared to pacquiao, how much more pacquiao... If colazzo can stun hatton who haven't fought for more than a year how much more pacquiao...

If most of the hattonites are saying that the last 2 fight of pacquiao is not genuine, same goes to hatton... If i would compare their last to fight, pacquiao fought better opponents for me than hatton and way more impressive...

Hatton has a chance but i give pacquiao a better chance... Hatton's powerful body punch can't be underestimated since he is really good at it...

I can't wait anymore... I hope its already may 2... Its a war for sure...

I have never -- and I repeat NEVER -- seen anyone compare Pacquiao to Robinson. The closest you'll get to anything like that is people comparing his recent accomplishments to Henry Armstrong's, and while that is slightly far fetched, it isn't all that close from realistic.

Who the hell is "pakya" anyway? If you're that much of a hardcore fan you'd at least attempt to spell his name correctly.

pakya beat 1 guy above 135 who was old and didnt put up a fight delahoya had a great career but was obviously shot at 35years old. ,put in a prime top ten 147lber see how tested pakya is

I'm not sure if you missed my point? Who has tried to market Pacquiao as the new Sugar Ray Robinson? I haven't seen anything like that.

I don't believe Oscar is shot either. A case can be made for his weight, but shot? I don't think so.
