we are talking a bout current p4p, so take winky, barrera, cotto, out of the equation. mosely has only had one good win in years. jmm, got beat by pac, and if you are critical about pacs opposition, you have to say casa and mab are not in prime. hopkins lost to calzaghe, (controversial) but most of his victories have come against smaller men e.g. trinidad, delahoya, wright. his main victory's are against pavlik and tarver. not good enough to go ahead of pac.

So your saying that because Hopkins fought guys a couple of inches smaller than him that he don't get credit for that? I'm tired of all this he's too big or too small. Manny Pacquiao whipped De La Hoya's ass & Oscar was considered a favorite because of his size but now we see that it doesn't matter. Trinidad & De La Hoya moved up to fight Hopkins and got beat period, doesn't matter if they were shorter because they were still live wires. I like Manny Pacquiao but there is NO WAY you can compare him to Bernhard Hopkins achievement wise. Bernhard Hopkins opponents were more accomplished than Manny's opponents and had WAY more impressive wins & bigger names.

Tito and DLH were welterweights, hopkins started his career as a lightheavyweight going down to middleweight. Pac is flyweight going up to welterweight. I like bernard too but there is no way Nards achievement are way better than pac.
