Diaz was 31 when he fought Pac. How is that "old"? Also, why should a guy who started at 106 pounds and who only just went up to 147 for a one-off fight be fighting prime, top 10 welterweights? Your expectations appear to be extremely high.

You better need more research & be specific...how many newspaper are there in the Phils., in what newspaper.. The scoring in every round is 10-9 if there's no knock down, 10-8 w/1 knockdown, 10-7 w/2, 10-6 w/3...even u hit ur opponent many times but not that devastating it's still 10-9, only i knew a judge gave a 10-8 w/out a knockdown is in rd 6 between Pac vs Oscar...so JMM impressive in some rounds but the score is still 10-9 i believe he got 6 rounds, Pac also has 6 rounds & do some mathematics there...but there is 1 knockdown that makes the difference...thats why the score is 114-113 in Pac's favor...Pacquiao 6rds(10x6 + 9x6)=114, Marquez 6rds (10x6 + 9x5 + 8x1) = 113...

I don't believe Oscar is shot either. A case can be made for his weight, but shot? I don't think so.
sugar ray robinson is almost synonymous with number 1# pnd for pnd the term reserved for the best of the best of the best, so by saying pac#1 pnd 4 pnd the implication is automatically there ,they dont have to say: oh pacya is as good as robinson.oscar at 35 is clearly not in his prime he struggled very hard with stevie forbes, a win is a win but to beat oscar and autamatically be crowned the hottest **** since popcorn is a s-t-r-e-t-c-h ,pacya will give us some very intriguing fights if he backs up his tough talk of taking on cotto or margarito or maybe even mosley or hell a 3rd jmm or campell or valero ,or diaz.i like that pacya helps folks

those are the judges scores which ultimatley rule but check out the compubox post fight analysis, pac threw much more and landed less ,and the rounds pac won he won by a smaller margin than jmm did his. they liked pac their opinion but the truth is jmm landed more overall and won most of the fight period, the knockdown was the equalizer in the judges minds,so its a matter of early knockdown vs more rounds and superior punch connects the second fight was much closer no doubt, this debate could rage forever a 3rd fight shouldve already happened as jmm is 35 pac has all the time he wants.

you said above 135 not at 135 oscar is the only above 135 pacs faced, mayweather started at that weight so have many others thats another little gimmick that gets alot of attention, pac is the one who says he wants to take on the welters not me .pac had about 10lbs on marquez and many others ,come fight time so he's not really such a little guy moving up,pac team way overconfident he should stay at 135or 140 for his sake for entertainment sake he wants the welters then go ahead.

JMM-Pacquiao 3? sure, Pacquiao fans would love that to happen..to totally shut up the JMM nuthuggers for good.

All jmm had against pac is what? 3 seconds wobble! that's it, power shots is what really counts, someone who did the more damage... and guess who got the more damage in Pac-Jmm 1 and 2? This is PRO not AMATURE fights! go watch olympics!

in pacfans minds only round 1 and 3 counts in both fights you seem to forget jmm got up and took your boy to scool cut him up with clean punching in both fights and closed the show!jm outlanded pac in both fights in the power shots and overall connects.ans threw less compubox daddy read it!,if any of those knockdowns were in the late rnds or even middle id be a different story, but it isnt pak didnt deserve the win at all ,he didnt look like no winner even he was surprised he won.outlanded outsmarted ,period. have your cheap robbery decision jmm has been knocked down pac been knocked ouut twice!

You have to check the records dude, so that u can have a reliable comparison of boxers w/ each other...Pacquiao as a boxer p4p cemented his super stardom to the boxing world by beating the hall of fame careers of the 3 elite champions, Barerra, Morales & Marquez...if u beat Barerra, Morales & Marquez, it somehow reflects how they beat elite opponents to Pacquiao's credit, remember & imagine that Pac beat them in style w/ knockdowns, TKO's & knock outs that made the name of Paquiao great...other performances were more defining moments in defying odds w/c showed the greatness of Pac w/ his will & courage to defied odds...as between Pac vs Diaz & the dream match w/c draws more interest, questions & doubts if he could still deal w/ such size difference & still could bring his speed & power to the new division, a successful 1st fight in 135lbs w/ a champion & jumps 2 weight division w/ Dela Hoya(a 6 time division champion) who has a split decision loss to the former p4p king Mayweather...
