Both had a lengthly reign in their respective divisions without beating anyone of real note.

Then both had their breakthrough fights, Hopkins:- Tito and DLH. Calzaghe:- Lacy and Kessler.

Hopkins then moved up two divisions and beat the number one in Tarver and as we know Calzaghe then jumped up to Light Heavy and beat Hopkins.

Both fighters have wins over good opposition BH:- Tito, DLH, Wright. JC:- Kessler, Lacy, Eubank

Both have wins over decent opposition BH:- Joppy, Echols, Allen, Eastman. JC:- Mitchell, Brewer, Reid, Bika

And both fighters have wins of **** fighters BH:- Hakker. JC:- Pudwill.

Both fighters are at the tailend of their respective careers and both are hall of fame bound, its just a shame the majority of Americans dont give Calzaghe the same amount of respect they give to Hopkins
NEVER, EVER compare Hopkins resume with Calzaghe, its a no brainer that Hopkins ****s all over Calzaghe's resume.

Hopkins has wins over: Antonio Tarver, Felix Trinidad, Oscar De La Hoya, Kelly Pavlik, Winky Wright, Glen Johnson and Keith Holmes, while he also fought Jermain Taylor, Roy Jones and Joe Calzaghe.

Calzaghe's best wins are Kessler and Lacy who havent proved **** in boxing as of yet, I mean Lacy is decent and Kessler is a good fighter but they havent beaten anyone worthy.

    Hopkins >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Calzaghe

Hopkins was the undisputed WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO champ making defenses for along while, Calzaghe wasnt even Ring recognised div champ until Ottke retired, and he unified with Lacy. Calzaghes resume is more like Ottke, and Erdie's... than it ever is Hopkins.

NO offensive line: everyone is old and injured. Look it up.
