That's what i've been saying the whole time!!! Manny is not that much of a devastating puncher. If he couldn't get jmm out of their matches after connecting on juan like he did. People are just manny groupies i swear. He pounded on oscar without him throwing back for 8 rounds and manny still couldn't drop oscar? You guys said i was crazy to pick rick hatton over manny pacquiao or to even suggest that hatton stood a chance. Ricky hatton has stopped fighters with his power. @ 140 ricky has the power advantage & a lil speed. Hatton has a decent chin. Don't be surprised if you see manny get dropped.

i doubt manny can hurt any of the ww
Your opinion of David Diaz is irrelevant to the quote you are replying to. I was merely stating what Diaz said of Pacquiao's power, not bulling him up to be an elite fighter. I don't believe he is a "bum" either. There is no need to be disrespectful.

Doubt all you want about Pacquiao's ability to hurt welterweights. Does that mean there are no welterweights he cannot beat? Of course not. It's about styles. Pacquiao does not need to be a power punching monster to win fights.

Oscar was doing so well in his defeat being quiet and now this

Oscar you were doing so well to be quiet after that ass whupping.. he even gave Pac credit after the fight saying "no excuses Pac is a great champ.. now here you go trying to justify.. just sit down and be quiet.

Oscar De La Hoya said that he felt so weak and helpless during last December's stoppage loss to Manny Pacquiao that during the seventh round he was hoping for the Filipino fighter to land a knockout blow. What's even more telling is De La Hoya's claim that Pacquiao is not a heavy hitter, at least not at their agreed upon weight of 147-pounds. Much of Pacquiao's steam as he rides into the May 2 showdown with Ricky Hatton, is the pounding he gave to De La Hoya. Two fights prior to the De La Hoya win, Pacquiao was barely able to get past Juan Manuel Marquez in a rematch that was held at 130-pounds. [details]

so you basically saying pac poesn't deserve no credit for his accomplishments. pac beat them all fair and square. they agreed to fight and they lost. hindsight is a beautifull thing for all you haters.

this shows a lack of class on oscars part.... it just seems like he's trying to give hatton a little motavation by saying that pac doesnt hit hard, implying that richy shouldnt be worried about getting caught while comming in.

if this is the case, then hatton will end up gettin fucked up for taking de la hoyas advice, just like he did in the mayweather loss

De la Hoya's never been KO'ed except with a body shot. The fight should've been stopped by the ref in the 7th because he was just taking a beating and hardly threw a worthwhile punch. He almost went down in the last few seconds of the 8th had the ropes not held him up. At last he quit in full view of the camera with one side of his face all swollen up. Now he adds that he hurt Pac in the 1st round when Pac didn't even lose his stride and was all over him like a cheap suit for 8 rounds.

Anyway, I expected these excuses from Oscar even if it took him a couple of months since that total beat down to finally break his silence.

I agree he'll be messed up for a while because of this. As for pacman not hitting hard, well he may not be that hard of a hitter up at welterweight and thats pretty much expected since its way above his natural weight class. The problem with Manny is that hes so fast and he will through a lot of punches that will eventually add up.
