i agree, floyd might have fought down to dlh's level to ensure the rematch would happen. if floyd dominated dlh, then the rematch would definitely not happen.

floyd's gameplan was to let dlh get tired and come on stronger in the later rounds... that's always been floyd's strategy at 147 because he doesnt punch hard enough. it was no surprise that he used that strategy against dlh, especially considering dlh was weak stamina.

I was wondering how you guys scored the fight and what your thoughts were on it. I had it 115-113 to Floyd.

One thing that struck me, seemed to be the lack of a gameplan on Floyd's part. Between rounds you could clearly hear him talking with Roger about how Oscar was going to tire later. It seemed his strategy to win was to wait it out until the later rounds when Oscar would tire. Thoughts?

I agree with you, It look like Mayweather was waiting for oscar to tired out before he makes any move, He looked very uncomfortable when oscar was popping out the jab and i had oscar ahead at one point in the fight before he got tired from the 6-7th round upwards.

Am not sure if Mayweather took it easy on him because he wanted a rematch but that fight sure would have given the others (Cotto,Margarito..Hatton) a good hope of beating Mayweather based on that performance.

You are such an idiot, that you don't even understand why I called out your bs. So let me explain to you. Someone brought up as a power argument, that Mayweather stopped Corrales. Your answer was "so did casamayor and castillo". Now if you had seen the first Casa-Corrales fight you would have noticed why the fight was stopped (cuts inside Chico's mouth) and not bring that stoppage up in a dicussion about power.

You also look like an idiot when you call yourself a fan of the sport as opposed to me, when everything in and around your posts (sig, avatar) says: "I lick Cotto's balls"
