if abraham really wants to unify with sturm why wont he be realistic and take the shorter purse???
If that was the problem why did they say that there is an ultimatium and we wont stand for it (please explain what this means), second of all Sturm wont even make 1/5 that doing his mandatories so smaller purse/ bigger purse he still looks like ***** for turning down the biggest payday of his life.

      you're delirious.

AA stays covered-up to long..he let's you get off..then he responds..That won't work with a murderous puncher like Pavlik.

He doesn't mix his offense and defense well enuff to beat Pavlik.

Abraham has never stopped a fighter as good as Jermain Taylor..nor has he gone the distance with a cagy Vet like Hopkins.

Pavlik at this point is just too smart for Abraham.

this is the fight everyone wants to see! abraham proved he`s for real & not jst a protected fighter!
also pavlik shouldn`t be written off jst yet!
this fight has to be made! but unfortunatley the sad thing about boxing is that there is always the possibilty that it will never happen even though these 2 guys are probably the 2 best mw`s in the world!
also!, slightly off topic but i feel sorry for sturm! IMO he beat delahoya in the usa and people criticies him(and all other german fighters, judges & referees!)
          pure hipocrisy!!

It's really not relevant who has held the strap longer as it's now where talking. AA travelled to the states to rematch Miranda who was heavily favored to win by the yanks on this board. AA made the most of this opportunity and won in destructive fashion despite fighting with 2 broken ribs. Surely he proved that he's willing and able to take on anybody anywhere.
            Look fool.

Instead of crying about the yanks on this board...like a *****...why don't you just admit Edison Miranda was not the same fighter in the rematch.

He had been KTFO by Pavlik and almost stopped again by Alan Green.

You can see this ass-whippin coming from space.

Soon as Abraham covers-up Pavlik will unload on his ass with shots he won't be able to handle.

AA keeps those earmuffs on way too long.

I take it you read there was a knockdown in the Alan green fight on boxrec and decide to come out and say he almost stopped Miranda. LOL. The only thing in your post that is noteworthy is that you have obviously never seen Miranda-Green.

                  No I saw the fight.

Green caught Miranda with a leaping left hook and had him out on his feet...anybody that saw the fight realizes this.

John Duddy is a middleweight gold mine, How can you blame Pavlik for taking the fight?

If he doesen't probably Abraham or Sturm will.

Duddy/Pavlik has been in the works forever, it is not Pavlik's fault that Duddy got his face torn up and made the original date impossible. If the fight was agreed upon in principal it is only appropriate and honorable that Pavlik give him that shot, after all Duddy did not and has not lost a fight since the agreement.

No green got dominated the entire fight and got lucky with a flash kd which did not daze Miranda at all because he would continue to dominate green in the next 2 rounds and drop him twice in the 10th. If this was a 12 rounder green would never make it.
For those of us who actually watched that fight it is pretty difficult to take your predictions about future fights seriously if you cant even correctly call past fights you have seen.
