we all know that there are 2 sides to every story, and all promoters are grimey as hell. there is no way of knowing who is truthful, and who is not. it may be sturm's, it may be arthurs fault. no way to tell who's full of ****.

In general I agree, but not in this case. See here for example, and there are many similar articles. I don't believe all the journalists who reported on it were biased.

doubt you will see pavlik go to germany. the judging is even worse than vegas ffs. plus pavlik is the champ, he has the homecourt advantage i'd figure. i am confident this fight will happen around next fall. we all just want it yesterday. maybe they are just creating even more of a demand.

Why not agree go to Germany provided US judges and referee are used? I doubt Abraham would turn that down.

people always mention that sturm avoided abraham but they dont understand that abraham wanted the bigger purse. sturms team said hell no were not taking the shorter purse. and they did that with good reason. and sturms team has already stated that they are going to try and pursue a fight with pavlik in the summer.

if abraham really wants to unify with sturm why wont he be realistic and take the shorter purse???

Did that Pavlik loss to Hopkins scare his people that much? I would love to see this fight and I think a lot of people would as well. I lost some love for Joe because he went with Jones Jr. over Pavlik, but to see Top Rank talk about Duddy getting a fight with Pavlik and not Abraham upsets me even more. Or is Pavlik just really unsure of himself now after thinking he was unbeatable? I hope Pavlik says he wants Abraham, and starts taking the bigger fights for credibility and not money.

Before the loss to Hopkins I wouldn't know what way I would pick, but after the Hopkins fight I think Joe would win it. I would still have loved to have seen that more then the fight with Jones Jr.

Do you really, honestly think that a fighter or anyone in his camp is going to say, in a pre-fight interview, that he has a serious injury that could affect his performance in the ring? Really? Are you that foolish? It was a serious injury that affected not only Pavlik's training but also his performance of course it was downplayed going into the fight.
